What are credits?+
Credits are the currency for MCP tool calls on MCPForest. 1 credit = 1 MCP tool call. AI token usage (for widget chat) is tracked separately and billed monthly on the 1st.
How does AI token billing work?+
Widget chat conversations consume AI tokens. Token usage is tracked in real time and billed as a separate invoice on the 1st of each month, based on actual provider costs plus a small platform margin.
How does the free trial work?+
Sign up and get 200 free credits instantly — no credit card required, no time limit. Use them to test your MCP servers. When your credits run out, choose a plan to continue.
What happens when I run out of credits?+
Your MCP tool calls will be paused. You can purchase a credit pack instantly for more credits, or wait until your next billing cycle when your plan credits refresh.
Can I buy more credits?+
Yes! Credit packs are available for purchase anytime from your billing dashboard. They never expire and stack on top of your monthly plan credits.
Can I change plans later?+
Yes, you can upgrade or change plans at any time from the Billing section of your dashboard.
Do you offer annual billing?+
