Billing & Plans

MCPForest uses a subscription-based billing model with a free trial period. This guide covers how plans, trials, and billing work.

How Billing Works

When you register and choose a plan, you start with a free trial. During the trial, your card is verified with a $0 authorization but you are not charged. After the trial ends, your subscription is automatically charged on a monthly billing cycle.

Plan Features

Each plan includes the following configurable limits:

FeatureDescription
Server LimitMaximum number of MCP servers you can create
Monthly API CallsMaximum tool invocations per month across all your servers
Trial PeriodNumber of days you can use the plan for free before being charged
Grace PeriodNumber of days after a failed payment where your servers continue running

View current plans and pricing on the Pricing page.

Subscription States

StatusDescription
TrialingYou're within the free trial period — full access, no charges
ActiveSubscription is active and billing normally
GracePayment failed — servers keep running while we retry the charge
ExpiredTrial or grace period has ended without successful payment
CancelledSubscription has been cancelled

Usage Tracking

Every tool invocation on your deployed MCP servers counts as one API call. The Billing page in your dashboard shows:

  • Your current plan name and monthly price
  • Subscription status and relevant dates (trial end, next billing)
  • API calls used this month vs. your monthly limit, with a progress bar
  • Server limit for your plan
  • Last charge date

When you reach your monthly call limit, additional tool invocations will be rejected until the next billing cycle.

Payment Method

You can add or update your payment method from the Billing page in your dashboard. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. MCPForest never stores your full card details.
